Hello CTLF Members and Community!

As I close out my first week as CEO & President of CTLF, I wanted to take this opportunity to introduce myself to all of you.

Thank you for the warm welcome I have already received! I have admired CTLF for years and am excited to be a part of the team. I also want to thank Sara, Diane, and the CTLF team. They have worked tirelessly during the transition to keep everything running smoothly and allow for a seamless transition. Sara’s vision helped build CTLF into the rewarding community it is today, and I am truly honored and humbled to step in to carry on the mission.

My husband and I moved to Denver from Chicago four years ago. Most recently, I was President of a subsidiary of the Chicago Bulls and White Sox, a for-profit company with a nonprofit mission. Before taking over as President from the founder, I held roles overseeing marketing and strategic partnerships. I have a background in consulting, marketing, business development, and corporate finance in Chicago and New York. I am passionate about, and have been involved in, numerous civic and philanthropic organizations in Denver and Chicago.

I have two daughters, and am very fortunate that, at least for now, both live in Denver. I enjoy hiking, skiing, painting, travel, reading, wine, and cooking (not necessarily in that order).

I consider myself a growth leader. Throughout my career I’ve been involved in every element of growth from new product/program development, sales, strategic partnerships, marketing, start-up consulting, and corporate finance. But more importantly, I strongly believe in personal and professional growth. I have been devoted to authenticity through professional networking, relationship building, mentorship, and giving back to the community throughout my career.

HEART-level leadership is at the core of who I am. I believe in the adage: “You don’t know what you don’t know.” Life is about embracing learning and growing personally and professionally.

Lastly, I know that the people and culture make the difference in any organization. I will never take that for granted. I look forward to spending the next month listening and learning from the entire CTLF community.

My goal is to build upon our incredible foundation – introducing even more people to CTLF and the powerful impact it can have.

Please reach out if you have any questions. Together I am confident we can continue to grow and strengthen CTLF’s mission! You are the heart of what makes CTLF so special.

With gratitude,
Xan
