A while back, I learned about Dr. Adam Grant through a New York Times article, “Is Giving the Secret to Getting Ahead?”  It read “I don’t know the last time there was a study in our field that had such striking results,” says Stuart Bunderson, a professor of organizational behavior at Washington University. “In terms of an intervention that has practical significance and moves the needle on employee behavior — you don’t see them that often.” The intervention was also a manager’s dream: fast and practically free.  The article quickly drew me in.

I have to admit, I found it intriguing that research was validating all of the principles found in our flagship program, STRATEGIC CONNECTIONS. And so I reached out to Dr. Grant to learn more – my experience mirrored the story shared in the New York Times article, and I immediately wanted to bring him to Colorado.  And when we reached out to Rocky Mountain HR People & Strategy, we found them to be an example of what Grant’s book, Give and Take, calls extreme givers.  And because of this, they are an organization we are honored to partner with.
