CTLF enjoys hosting multiple events each year from networking and charity events, to workshops, panels and an annual Signature Event. We work every day to bring intentionality to networking so that our attendees can gain and share valuable peer insights and perspectives. The end result is that every attendee can develop strong, genuine, and mutually beneficial relationships through CTLF. A big THANK YOU to our members, sponsors, partners and friends who made 2015 one incredible year! Join us to review this year’s events:
CTLF’s Annual Signature Event: “CONTAGIOUS: Why Things Catch On” with Jonah Berger
Wednesday, May 13, 2015
Every year, CTLF hosts our Annual Signature Event, where attendees learn how to transform their businesses by implementing strategies and techniques designed to have an immediate and positive action. These thoughtful interactions provide valuable opportunities to develop new relationships with high-level peers.
This year was no exception with “CONTAGIOUS: Why Things Catch On” with best-selling author Jonah Berger being one of the most interesting and useful events in Denver this year. Attendees gained unique insights into harnessing the unmistakable power of word of mouth. Mr. Berger shared the secrets to getting people to want to share a company’s message with others and how to tap into this powerful force to watch word spread and growth explode.
CTLF’s Annual Summer Games Networking Event
Held: Wednesday, August 26, 2015
CTLF’s annual summer-end networking event has become a favorite of the business community. Guests enjoyed meeting new colleagues and peers and spending time with familiar faces. The event was one of the most memorable and fun business events of the summer with a variety of summer outdoor games, such as bocce ball, croquet, horseshoes and more. In addition, this event celebrated the strong relationships that are continually resulting from our flagship program, Strategic Connections, now over 30 years old.
CTLF Workshop: “Old School With New Tools” with Tim Brown
Held: Wednesday, October 21, 2015
This workshop was designed to teach the practical ways business leaders can utilize new tools and technologies as well as the old school values of business through relationships to gain a skilled edge. Many workshops teach techniques to close the sale, but none focus on how to use every single interaction throughout the sales process to elevate reputation, credibility and respect as an executive.
Not just another sales workshop, this event helped attendees gain the ability to position themselves to sell to peers in effective new ways and capture unprecedented growth in the years to come.
CTLF’s 5th Annual Holiday Charity Event & Silent Auction
Held: Wednesday, December 2, 2015
CTLF was founded on the principles of giving first and building strong relationships that can benefit our community. In this spirit of giving, each year CTLF donates all of the proceeds from our holiday event to our charity of choice, Big Idea Project (BIP). This highly impactful organization teaches high school students to become Generous Leaders and prepares them to build our communities, businesses, and nation.
This event gathered a 200 high level group of business owners, CEOs, executives, and entrepreneurs to participate in a live auction, mingle over appetizers and drinks, and meet other like-minded leaders. This event not only raised over $10,000 for BIP, but also helped to raise their profile, turning the heads of larger foundations and receiving substantial grant funding that will allow them to create Generous Leaders throughout the country.
