About Linda:

Linda Appel Lipsius is the Co-Founder, Advisor, and on the Board of Directors of Teatulia Organic Teas. In 2006, she launched an innovative effort with partners in Bangladesh to bring premium, 100% organic, direct-sourced teas and herbs to the United States. Teatulia is a proud women and minority-owned business. 

From developing sustainable packaging to providing micro-business loans that lift families out of the cycle of poverty, Linda has built a universally-respected brand known for doing things better. She is a leading voice on topics ranging from entrepreneurship to using business as a force for good. 

Linda’s entrepreneurial roots were watered in her family’s business Orange Glo International. While growing Teatulia, she also opened the mama’hood, a resource for new and expecting moms and their families. Currently, she serves as Executive Director of Denver Urban Gardens (DUG) which supports Denver residents in creating sustainable, food-producing neighborhood community gardens.

Some of Linda’s additional accomplishments include:

Started in 1935, DUG is one of the country’s largest community garden organizations with 190 gardens across 6 counties in Metro Denver accounting for 33 acres greened, 650,000lbs of food grown (of which 10% is donated), 17,500 gardeners and over 40,000 people impacted through DUG’s garden, education, food access and volunteer programs.
